Santa Rosalina have you ever thought about sport fishing in a French-style village?
On the shores of the Sea of Cortez we find one of the five municipalities of Baja California Sur that was discovered by Jesuits and is known by the name of Mulegé. In this municipality, hidden among its palm groves and tropical vegetation lies a treasure full of history and interesting facts.
After being surrounded by desert, it is an oasis of visualizing this type of vegetation. The city bears the name of Santa Rosalía. This picturesque town represents a great attraction for tourists because of its French imprint and because it has all the desired amenities. For its authenticity, magic and history, it was declared a historical monument more than two decades ago.

From the city of La Paz by car is approximately 8 hours of travel.
By air
Palo Verde National Airport or Santa Rosalia National Airport (IATA: SRL), is located in the town of Palo Verde, 40 kilometers south of Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur, Mexico, a city located on the coast of the Gulf of California. The airport is also known as Chivato Bay and the acronym CIB is used as an identifier. It currently serves regional airlines as well as general aviation.
What to fish?
Sport fishing is one of the great attractions of Santa Rosalía. In the waters of Baja California Sur you can find around 800 different species of fish. Among the best known are blue marlin, dorado, swordfish, tuna, cabrilla, jacks, roosterfish, wahoo and snappers, depending on the season.
