Fishing in Punta Abreojos can be nothing short of spectacular.
The surrounding reefs hold more of the large seabass type of fish than anywhere else possibly in the world.
Do you know why they call it Punto Abreojos? It’s because it’s a place where sailors must keep their eyes wide open due to the numerous reefs and rocky islands that surround it. Every good angler knows that these aren’t ideal conditions for navigation but are perfect for fishing, as they create rich marine biodiversity, making the fishing spectacular. This little fishing village south of Baja not only offers great inshore fishing but also the best surfing spot and the best lobsters in Baja.
