How to get there?
Puerto Adolfo Lopez Mateos is located north of the Pacific Ocean, inside Magdalena Bay, 256 kilometers from La Paz. The drive by road takes three and a half hours by car.
By land:
Bahía Magdalena is located 57 kilometers from Ciudad Constitución and 216 kilometers from La Paz.
It can be reached via the Transpeninsular Highway # 1 "Benito Juárez" from Tijuana to Los Cabos. We recommend: Do not drive at night (due to livestock), respect the signs and safety rules when traveling.
Once in Ciudad Constitución take State Highway No. 22 and drive 57 km until you reach the Bay.
By air:
You can arrive by air through the Ciudad Constitución Airport or through the López Mateos airstrip;
The International Airport of La Paz, located 10 km north of the city, receives daily flights from Los Angeles, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, among other cities, through airlines such as Aerocalifornia, Aeromexico and Aerolitoral.
Los Cabos International Airport, located 15 km north of Los Cabos, receives daily international flights through America West, Alaska Airlines, Continental, Delta and Mexicana Airlines. Flights from other U.S. cities also arrive to Los Cabos.
Loreto International Airport receives flights from the United States connecting with the cities of Los Angeles, Tucson and San Diego; Aerolitoral (AM) provides domestic flights.
By sea:
By sea you can arrive by tourist or private boats to Puerto San Carlos and Puierto Lopez Mateos.
