La Boquilla Lake

La Boquilla Lake, also called Toronto Lake. With almost 40 km in its major axis it is one of the largest bodies of water in all of northern Mexico. It is considered an ideal site for sport fishing for largemouth bass, catfish and tilapia.  You can also enjoy water sports such as water skiing and boat rides.

What to fish?

You can catch species such as carp, largemouth bass, blue catfish, rainbow trout and yellow trout. Tournaments for largemouth bass are held annually.

How to get there?

To the south of the state, arriving to Camargo 28 km to the west by paved road in good conditions.
