How to get there?
Magdalena Bay is characterized for having a very good sport fishing due to its location and ecosystem.
By land
The easiest way is to get to Ciudad Constitución. You can get there through the Transpeninsular Highway # 1 "Benito Juarez" from Tijuana to Los Cabos.
This highway offers the services of the Federal Highway Police, Green Angels and the emergency services that can be provided by the authorities of the nearest town: Red Cross, Fire Department, Municipal Police, etc. We recommend: Do not drive at night (due to livestock), respect the signs and safety rules when traveling.
Once in Ciudad Constitución take State Highway No. 22 and drive 57 km to the Bay.
By air
You can arrive by air through the Ciudad Constitución Airport or through the López Mateos airport.
Also through the International Airport of La Paz. It is located 10 km north of the city and receives daily flights from Los Angeles, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, among other cities, through airlines such as Aerocalifornia, Aeromexico and Aerolitoral.
Los Cabos International Airport, located 15 km north of Los Cabos, receives daily international flights through America West, Alaska Airlines, Continental, Delta and Mexicana Airlines.
Flights from other U.S. cities also arrive to Los Cabos. Loreto International Airport receives flights from the United States connecting with the cities of Los Angeles, Tucson and San Diego; Aerolitoral (AM) provides domestic flights.
By sea
By sea you can reach Puerto San Carlos and Puerto Lopez Mateos by tourist or private boats.
What to fish?
Sport fishing in Magdalena Bay is very good because the waters of this bay are full of abundant nutrients very popular with fish such as striped marlin, blue marlin, black marlin and sailfish, dorado, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, huachinango, pardo and cabrilla.
