De los Muertos Bay is an incredible place for sport fishing. The landscapes are of another dimension.
By land:
It is located 57 km southeast of La Paz. To get there you can take highway No. 286. Access to Buenavista and La Ventana beaches can be made by federal highway No. 1 and the same route 286, respectively.
By air:
Its national and international airports connect with the main cities of the country, the United States and Canada. La Paz International Airport, located 10 km north of the city, receives daily flights from Los Angeles, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, among other cities, through airlines such as Aerocalifornia, Aeromexico and Aerolitoral.
Los Cabos International Airport, located 15 km north of Los Cabos, receives daily international flights through America West, Alaska Airlines, Continental, Delta and Mexicana Airlines. Flights from other U.S. cities also arrive to Los Cabos. Loreto International Airport receives flights from the United States connecting with the cities of Los Angeles, Tucson and San Diego; Aerolitoral provides domestic flights.
By sea:
By sea you can arrive via ferries traveling from Los Mochis and Mazatlan to La Paz, and from Santa Rosalia to Guaymas offering a variety of services.
What to fish?
There is no place as beautiful for sport fishing as de los Muertos Bay. Here you can fish for Striped marlin, blue marlin, black marlin and sailfish, mahimahi, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, roosterfish, red snaper and grouper.
