Chihuahua Lake

The Chihuahua Lake built in 1960 on the Chuvíscar River is one of the largest Lakes in Mexico.  Thanks to its infrastructure it is a favorite spot for sport fishing for carp and bass, besides being ideal for a family picnic thanks to its attractive landscape and family atmosphere.

What to fish?

Sport fishing at the Chihuahua Dam is mainly focused on carp and largemouth bass, but you can also find magnificent specimens of catfish and mojarra.

How to get there?

It is located 10 kilometers west of the Chihuahua City, on the exit to Ciudad Cuauhtémoc.
