*Francisco I. Madero lake is also known as "Las Virgenes" because of the sculptures that adorn its gates. Among the activities to do in the lake are sport fishing and boat rides, as well as enjoying northern dishes in the different restaurants located on the shore. It was inaugurated on May 25, 1949, has a capacity of 425 million cubic meters and is considered one of the 10 most beautiful in the world.

This lake is located approximately 90 km from Chihuahua City, and only 15 km from the cities of Meoqui and Delicias.
